About Me
- Dan Wekselgreene
- I am a math teacher in the Bay Area, California. Previously, I taught for eleven years at Downtown College Prep charter high school in San Jose, where the target student is low-skilled and of the first generation to go to college. Currently, I am teaching at Capuchino high school in San Bruno. On this blog, I will post strategies that I am trying, and I would love to see strategies that others are using to help bring students up to grade level and teach them real math skills. very nice.... curious of the context though
Each year we do department pictures, and the photographer is someone who used to teach photo at DCP years ago. She likes to have us dress up and do crazy/random things, usually related to the department's subject. Since we have a math band - The Numeracy Project (Hello Cleveland!) - we thought we'd rock out a bit for the shoot. Plus, Tony (holding the sign) likes wigs, so there you go.
Haven't heard from you in a while, did you go on tour with the band?
This is the best department picture in the history of the world.
Jackie, all I can say is "Hello Cleveland!"
Beck - it'd be better with some harmonica in the mix.. or maybe some cowbell...
